Surinam Airways is the national carrier of the Republic of Suriname. Also known as SLM (Surinaamse Luchtvaart Maatschappij)

Surinam Airways was established in August 1962 with the goal of providing internal air links. After Suriname’s independence on November 25 1975, the company started formal international operations. Currently Surinam Airways has three Boeing 737-300 and one Airbus 340-300 aircraft.

At present we fly from Paramaribo (Suriname’s capital) to Amsterdam, Belem, Cayenne, Curacao, Aruba, Port of Spain, Georgetown, Miami (USA) and Orlando (USA) (seasonal), with direct connections to the rest of Europe, the Caribbean and South America.
