Residence Inn is a Surinamese enterprise and a subsidiary of the national airline company Surinam Airways.

Residence Inn Paramaribo has 39 rooms and offers all the modern comforts and facilities you expect of a 3 star hotel. It was opened in 1998 and fully renovated and refurnished in 2014. The building, located in peaceful surroundings, was previously the Embassy of the Soviet Union, before being transformed into a hotel with a beautiful tropical garden.

The recent refurbishment makes it ideal for both tourists and business travellers.

It is set just outside the bustle of city and traffic, close to the Suriname River, yet only 10 minutes’ walk from the entertainment center of historic Paramaribo.

Hotel Residence Inn in Paramaribo is situated on Anton Dragtenweg, one of the most prestigious roads in the city, where many of the embassies and ambassadors’ residences are.  With the Suriname River just across the way and the sea not too distant, there is always a refreshing breeze here. MARAI CONFERENCE ROOM

Our air-conditioned conference room, laid out theater-style, has a maximum capacity of 60 persons. When in classroom, U-setting or banquet setting it is suitable for a maximum of 30 persons. Special catering arrangements, audio and visual equipment and WiFi are also available.

MATUTU RESTAURANT AND POOL BAR

The perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a delicious drink!
Breakfast is served from 06.30 to 10.00 on midweek days (Monday – Friday) and on Saturdays and Sundays from 07.30 – 10.30.

SWIMMING POOL AND TENNIS COURT

The swimming pool and tennis court are open daily from 10.00 to 21.00.

Nickerie

Residence Inn Nickerie has 24 rooms and offers all the comfort and facilities you expect of a 3 star hotel. The hotel was opened in 1997 and was fully renovated and refurbished in 2014, upgraded to current standards.

The hotel is situated in bustling Nieuw Nickerie, the second largest city in Suriname, at the border with neighboring Guyana. A visit to Residence Inn Nickerie can therefore conveniently be combined with a trip to exotic Guyana. You’re just a 10-minute ferry ride away.

MATUTU RESTAURANT, BAR AND TERRACE

The perfect spot to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or a delicious drink! The Matutu Restaurant is open from 18.30  to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. On the other days of the week, it closes at 22.00. Breakfast is served daily from 06.30 – 10.30 hrs.

Opening hours of the Matutu Bar and Terrace: Sunday to Thursday from 15.00 – 23.00 and on Friday and Saturday from 10.00 – 02.00.
